  Thanks to a wet winter, this area has little streams everywhere. I counted about 20 on the drive up there. Underground springs are also abundant, popping up unexpectedly from rock outcrops and edges of meadows. The dogwood trees, lining the banks of the creeks, are now in full bloom. May is a beautiful time of year to visit.
